This was taken in 1983 I believe from the suit I am wearing and the thin tie, I remember also that I was wearing...white shoes that night. I guess the Eddie Shoestring look was OK if you were in your late 20's but may have looked a bit strange when only 19 years old in South Wales.
I am with Jonathan here who was a pretty good Elvis impersonator in the days when there were only a few thousand in the world.
This was a concert run by Hazel Rudge and Ronnie Rudge who ran the youth club in Llanbradach and I remember I took the pictures. I have the negative of this one somewhere but Hazel just posted this one on facebook.
It was a good night I remember and I look very young and happy here mainly because I wasn't in work at that time, I falsely remember that I didin't drink alcohol when I was unemployed but this picture shows a pint glass in my hand!
